Brian Conlin Obituary
Brian Gene CONLIN Oct 10, 1966 ~ Feb 1, 2011 Brian was taken suddenly and much too young on February 1st, leaving heartbroken family and many grieving friends. We remember what he did and who he leaves behind, but passionately we honor who he was. Brian was a husband who truly loved his wife, a father smitten with and devoted to his girls. A faithful son and brother. Brian was a trusted friend who inspired and supported, a colleague who mentored and encouraged. Brian believed in you even when you didn't believe in yourself. Brian was the bright future and the good times ahead, and at his core believed in that for all of us. Brian was win win (followed by the crack 'that means I win, and I win again'). Brian was dawn when all was dark, and when dawn was late, he was unfailing confidence. Brian was the guy you hoped to see at the party, whether it was the Union Michigan Hog Roast, the pitch meeting, the family card game or 'Drinking Liberally' with the county Democrats. Brian was the quip, the laugh, the juicy steak when the rest of the world was hamburger. Brian was 'how do you like me now?' - 'the kid' - the cool uncle. Brian's night came too soon, but his light shines through all of us touched by him. We can't believe he's gone. Rest in peace. Rest now. Brian is survived by: His wife: Kim Hutchinson. Daughters: Skylar & McKenna; Siblings: Ken, Sean, Kelsey, Kyle & Ryan; Mother: Marigene Lutz; Father & Step-Mother: Ken & Denise Conlin; Brother-in-Arms: Doug Davis. And other assorted relatives, in-laws, friends and colleagues too numerous to list. Services info: Washington. Found the business card he gave me almost 30 years ago and was sad to learn about Brian´s passing. He was a mentor and helped me change my life and become who I am today. Thanks for all your mentoring.

Randomly thought of Brian today and smiled. He was a good dude. Hope Skylar and McKenna are doing well and blast out some Snoop Dogg for their pops every now and then.

I only knew Brian briefly as a colleague at Parker Staffing Services. In that brief time I leared that he was a friendly, helpful and professional person. I'm so sorry for this loss, my thoughts are with his family and friends.

I was saddened to learn of Brian's untimely passing. I was grateful to have had many opportunities to observe the many ways in which he loved and cherished his family.....and encouraged those around him.....just by being himself. He was love personified, and I will miss him very much.
