Bruce Burden Obituary

Bruce BURDEN Age 85. Born 9/5/1925, Eugene, OR. Died 5/9/2011, Shoreline, WA. Survived by his wife of 62 years, Edith Burden, sons Robert, Ronald, and Kenneth Burden, daughter La Vonne Albertson, 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, many relatives and friends. Preceded in death by one son, Frank Burden. After returning from the Navy, Bruce completed a degree at Walla Walla College and launched a long career working with the state of Washington as an administrator with DSHS, then Harborview Medical Center and The University of Washington School of Dentistry. He was member of the Seattle African Violet Society and had a well developed green thumb. Late in life he was a licensed realtor. He loved living things and had a gift for putting people at ease. Memorial Services will be held at 3pm, Saturday, June 4th, Green Lake SDA Church, 6350 East Green Lake Way North, Seattle.
