Age 83 of Seattle. Passed away unexpectedly with his family by his side on January 24, 2013. His family and friends will remember his infectious laugh and kind heart. He was born in Kent, WA on May 9, 1929 to Oscar and Vada Peterson. Byron had two brothers, Carmen (deceased) and Derron Peterson. He graduated from Kent Meridian High School in 1947. He then went on to Central Washington University. Byron joined the Air Force in 1950. He then graduated from The School of Mortuary Science in San Francisco in 1961. Byron was a dedicated Funeral Director for 32 years. He met Frances J. Hren and they were married on January 26, 1952, they were married 61 years. Byron and Fran had two daughters, Starla Chainey and Lori Boblenz. Byron had a zest for life; he loved to travel, work in his yard and loved his best buddy, Tinker (his dog). He is survived by his wife Frances, his two daughters Starla (Ki) and Lori (Chuck) and his two granddaughters Riley and Kelsey. A visitation will be held Friday evening from 3 PM to 7 PM at Flintofts Issaquah Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 2 at 11 AM at St. Thomas Church in Tukwila, WA.
