Clara M. Baker

Obituary Condolences

Clara M. BAKER "Clink" May 31, 1913 ~ April 19, 2007 Devoted wife, mother and friend. Clara graduated from Ballard High School in 1931. She was an avid golfer and skier who met her husband, Gil Baker while skiing at Anvil Rock on Mt. Rainier in the spring of 1941. She loved music and taught herself to play the organ. She was intelligent, kind, loving and wise, and her existence was athletic and full. She was an inspiration to all who knew her, most notably by living with Parkinson's disease for more than 27 years, and never once let it dictate the quality of her life. She is survived by her husband of 64 years and her sons, Jeff of Tacoma and James of San Diego as well as many extended family and friends. She was deeply loved and we will forever miss her. The Services will be private. Arrangements by Tuell-McKee Funeral Home, 253 272-1414.
