Pee Wee was my first Boeing mentor as I joined the manufacturing-operations family in 1967 as a young, green and inexperienced industrial engineer. Through his patient teaching and coaching, my career at Boeing lasted 35 years and I have been indebted to his early guidance and continued friendship throughout the last 45 years. As a teenager, I enjoyed life at Mason Lake, and often shared early experiences with Pee Wee, that may have led he and his family to find the special retreat at this beautiful spot in Western Washington. My life has been blessed knowing him and having him as a friend.

Pee Wee was a terrific role model for all of us who were lucky enough to have worked around him. I am sure that is the case for his family and personal friends.
May the days ahead be filled with wonderful memories. May you find strength in the knowledge that so many loved and respected your husband and father.
My condolences to the Nelson family.

Janette and Family
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this time of grief.
I have many memories talking with Pee Wee about airplane issues and his advice on what to do. He would show up in my office, OK Thomas what kind of problems do we have today.
He was one of the great senior managers at Boeing and we will miss him dearly.

He was loved and respected by so many!
I know Pee Wee is smiling down from above and he looks forward to the day that he can see loved ones and friends again...

Clarence who constantly said..."Call me Pee Wee" was good boss who was also a friend.
He always called out.."Jimmy!" everytime we met...like he was just tickled pink to see me.
That s a greeting from someone who cares and I always felt that way about him...I ll miss him as will many others!
