1923 ~ 2012
Born in Culver City, CA, October 21, 1923, to Clement and Lillian Felzer. At nine months he began his life-long residency on Capitol Hill where, except for a 3 year US Navy deployment during WW II, lived until July 2012. Clem passed away gently surrounded by the love of his family on November 9, 2012.
He will be remembered for his love of his family, his many stories about decades of change in Seattle, his engineering projects, which can still be seen today, his artistic creativity, and his expressive appreciation for every kindness shown to him.
He is survived by his four children, Charlie (Margie), Larry, Marie (Rick) and Richard, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, his brother Tom (Marilyn), sister, Barbara, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, of 46 years, Aline Wartelle (1993) and his daughter, Ann (1985).
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 16th, at 11:00 AM, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 732 18th Ave East, Seattle.
Remembrances can be made to the Aline Wartelle-Ann Felzer Memorial Scholarship Fund at Holy Names Academy, 728-21st Ave. East, Seattle, WA 98112.
