Dan Norman Caldwell died July 15, 2014. He was born September 22, 1930 in Seattle, Washington. Dan graduated from Lincoln High School in Tacoma and he earned a Bachelor and Masters Degree from the University of Puget Sound. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Marjorie, four children, Ruth Jones, Margie Ann Teberg (John), Robert Caldwell (Gloria), Danny Caldwell, sister Dori Snider, and five grandchildren.
Dan had an interesting and varied career. He was an army veteran from the Korean War, he worked for Boeing, the King County Juvenile Court, Special Olympics, small boat sales and was on the Des Moines City Council. He was a community activist, especially monitoring the Port of Seattle activities.
Memorial Service will be Saturday, July 26 at Southminster Presbyterian Church, 19834 - 8th Ave S, Des Moines at 11 am.
