Dana "Corky" Georgia Ann ESSENSA (Cooley) May 13, 1949 to April 14, 2012 Corky, of Lynnwood, WA, was born May 13, 1949 in Ayer, MA and grew up in the Shoreline area of Seattle, WA. She graduated from Shoreline High School in 1967. Corky married Steve Lindjord, had two daughters and worked in the Candy Department at the old Frederick & Nelson in Aurora Village. She later became a School Psychologist. She was known for her wonderful cooking and welcoming nature. Family and friends enjoyed gatherings at Corky's home often. She loved her family and friends, frequently travelling to visit and enjoy their company. Corky is survived by her children Stephanie Dupuis (Lindjord) and Lisa (Brent) McCoy (Lindjord). Granddaughters Dylan, Sawyer, and Sloane McCoy. Her mother Deborah Cooley, sisters Deborah Jeanne Dallman, Geoffie Steenmeyer, and Royanne Westbrook. Corky is preceded in death by her father Roy H. Cooley. There will be a celebration of life in the Commons at Voyager Middle School in Everett on Sat., May 12th @ 3:00 p.m.
