David Watson Obituary

David Charles Watson

David Charles Watson, 74, passed away in his home on September 30, 2018 due to colon cancer. He was born on August 3, 1944 to the union of David Daniel Watson and Ludie Gordon Watson. David graduated from Chief Sealth High School in 1963. He served in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1967.

David worked in sales and administration in companies that included Seattle's Lighthouse for the Blind, General Mills, and E & J Gallo Winery. From 1996 through 2017 David served as a Family Counselor for Holyrood Cemetery where he compassionately assisted countless families in end of life arrangements.

David is survived by his wife Marilyn Watson, his son David Edward Watson, his sister Mary Flowers, nephews Marcus Watson, Rufus Flowers, Daniel Flowers (Tia), nieces Mary Williams and Gabrielle Flowers and a host of great nieces, great nephews, aunts, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Ludie Watson, his brother Henry James Watson, his nephews Aaron Watson, Jamiel Flowers and Michael Flowers and his first wife Sharon Rattley. The family expresses gratitude for the loving care provided by Jennifer Lee unto the hour of his death.

His memorial service will be

held at 10 am Monday, October 15,

2018 at Holyrood Cemetery 205

NE 205th St., Shoreline WA 98155.
