David Gene "Davo" Behrend

David Gene "Davo" BEHREND David left us on April 3, 2011. His laughter silenced and our hearts forever broken. There will be a huge void in many lives. His incredible sense of humor and loyalty to the people he cared about were unmatched. David was born August 8, 1955 in Seattle. He attended B.F. Day elementary, Catherine Blaine Junior and Queen Anne High School. He was a long time Seattle Yellow Cab driver. David lost his struggle with addiction and depression and he will be sorely missed. He was a one in a million friend. David loved children and animals. He loved flowers, plants, art, music and the theater. He had such compassion for the elderly and the homeless. David especially loved his friends and family who deeply felt the same for him. David is survived by his daughter Angela, who he adored immensely, his beloved extended Gordon family; Bill, Joan, Julie, Jan and Paul. His best friends Ted Kovacevic, Bob Berg, Billy Felder, Keith Safavi, Phil Jacquez, Dusty Anderson, Big Bud, Judy Turner and thanks to Jim Ridenour for being his "Annoying Angel." We will gather together to help each other get through this loss and celebrate his life on May 15, 2011 at Salmon Bay Eagles located at 5216 20th Ave N.W. from 3:00 to 8:00. This will be a potluck with live music by "The Mark Whitman Band" which starts at 3:30. To participate in the pot luck please contact Judy Turner 206-300-8083. In lieu of flowers donations can be made for the burial and his daughter Angela at Key Bank.
