Ruth and family,
Love from cousin Phyll and Family.
It seems that I knew was Dave going home to heaven on that Friday due to the e-mails plus Ann's visit. You all were on my mind all day.
I was in a prayerful way all that day.
My prayer now is for your comfort in many pleasant days you both had knowing that Dave is no longer in any pain. The last days of pain need to be forgotten. Please keep in touch and come by my house when you visit Portsmouth/Sciotoville.
God Bless!

Dear Ruth,
One of the distinct signs of a man's character is the joy his wife radiates when she speaks of him. That's what you always have imparted about David. You were a loving, caring couple, and David was a first-rate man blessed with an exceptional wife. My heart goes out to you.
Love and prayers,
Mayo

My condolences to your family. I never met David in person but I emailed with him a great deal in our search for Strawser ancestors. I once called his mother in Denver when I was twelve because she was the only Strawser I had ever seen in the phone book other that my own family. I told her "I'm a Strawser too" and hung up. She had told David about it and we had a chuckle over that.
