David Cribbs Obituary

David Ray CRIBBS Born September 3, 1957, and passed away at his home in Bothell on January 24, 2011. He is survived by Jane 'Donohue' Cribbs, his loving wife of 28 years, and his daughter, Jerrica. He leaves his brothers, Mike, Mark, Dan, and Bob, and his sisters, Kathy Garcia and Ana North. Preceded in death by his father, MJ, his mother, Betty, and brother, Glenn. He was a much beloved uncle, son-in-law and brother-in-law, and his family and many friends and co-workers will deep- ly miss his presence in their lives. Dave was a life-long resident of the Seattle area, and devoted his career to the Frank J. Martin Co. of Lynnwood. He was the first to lend a hand to anyone who needed assistance. He was 4th degree Knights of Columbus, Seattle Council 676. An avid marksman and outdoors man, with an unforgettable chuckle and a wonderful sense of humor, he will forever prompt a smile from his lively portrayal of Captain Morgan on the family camping trips. Dave, you are gone too soon, but never to be forgotten by all who know and love you. Your courage over the past four months is truly inspirational. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday February 2nd at 11:00 a.m. at St. Brendan's Catholic Church, 10100 NE 192 St, Bothell, 98011. The family suggests remembrances in Dave's name to St. Brendan's parish. Please sign the on-line Guest Book at www.Legacy.com Hoffner Fisher & Harvey

Dave - it was an honor and privilege to work with you, get to know you, and have you as a part of my life. Thank you for all of our morning talks at the 'crack of dawn', and for all the times you helped me out. You will be missed, but I will always cherish the memories.

Ah "Cribby" - I miss you like crazy and have such wonderful memories of so many years working together and being friends (even when you would pull my hair to see how much hairspray I had on). I am honored that you let me in to your usually "steel" reserve and witness your wicked sense of humor and genuine, caring demeanor. Hail to the Jolly Roger and Seven Seas.

Dave, I miss you like crazy. We had such fun and amazing times (even if you would pull my hair all the time to see how much hairspray I had on). You could make me smile just by seeing you on the forklift, getting the job done. You had such a wicked sense of humor that I feel honored to have been privy to. You were always reserved with most, but I feel flattered you let me in and be a friend. Hail to the Jolly Roger and Seven Seas.

We were so sorry to hear of Dave's cancer and passing. He was always the first one to volunteer to help anyone in need, and he brought joy into many lives in his short time here. We hope that memories which may now bring tears, will soon bring a fond smile.
With love,
Carol & Greg Karalus and Family

Dave, you are such a great man. God placed you here and you did good work for Him. Always there to help anyone at any time. My favorite memory is of you stringing wires under the house. You opened a hole on one end of the house, tied the cord onto the cat, put the cat under the house, closed the hole and caught him on the other end! You are greatly loved and missed! Dave - It was my pleasure to be able to know you & work with you since 2000 at FJM Co. Over the years, it was nice to be able to see more and more of your personality traits come through, like your generosity as well as your devotion to your family and to the company. You were a star, and you shone bright!
I wish you peace -
