To my Seattle Cousins,
We will all miss Aunt Delphine! As one of her "favorite" nephews, I remember when I was stationed at McChord AFB near Seattle in 1979. Aunt Delphine would invite me often for dinner on the weekends. She even gave me a key to the house (not even young Gene had a key). She always made me feel right at home, sort of like my second Mom! I remember one Saturday night when Gene and I were out a bit late (if you know what I mean), and Aunt Delphine was so angry at us, she woke us up early and dragged us to church with her. Now that's a good Mom! I have many great memories of Aunt Delphine, we will all miss her dearly, my sympathies to all our Seattle family! May God bless and comfort you in this time of loss!

All of our prayers for Aunt Delphine and for all of our cousins, Chuck, Maxine, Phyllis, Dee, Gene and Wayne. Delphine's warmth and happy smile are lighting up heaven right now and I know she will always have a warm place in all of our hearts. A long lost "hello" and best wishes from your cousin Barry, my wife Jane and our daughters Grace and Chanel. God Bless.

I have so many wonderful memories of Delphine, and although we didn't see her often, we will miss her very much. I always looked forward to her Christmas cards, and I use the bread basket she gave me every single day. My love to all of my cousins.

Del was my wife's (Jill's) sister's (Sue's) husband's (Gene's) mother. I perhaps qualified as something of a distant relative of Del's, but I will miss her nonetheless. Jill and I saw her at family gatherings at Gene and Sue's in Kirkland. She was truly a class act, a delight to visit with. The fact that she loved my Christmas heirloom fruit cake was the supreme compliment.

We will be with her family tomorrow for the celebration of her life. That will be our privilege.

To her large and loving family, Jill and I offer you our deepest sympathy for your loss. Joe Falk

Aunt Delphine passed along a gift of laughter. When I think of the Kettler family, the first thing I see is big smiles on her 6 children (grandchildren and great-grandchildren), and the first thing I hear is their laughter.

Aunt Delphine gave selflessly. She spent many nights helping my Mom when my Dad first came home from the hospital. She understood what both of my parents needed and was an incredible blessing to our family during a very tough time.

I treasure precious memories over the years meeting up with her and my Mom for lunch. She hosted or attended so many holiday dinners over the years.

She was thoughtful, giving, loving, and a consistent presence in our lives. She will be deeply missed.

Love,

Noelle

It has been a few years since my last visit with Aunt Delphine but each year I looked forward to the lovely note she always wrote in her Christmas card. I have wonderful memories of a warm, sweet, funny, special aunt! She will be missed by all who were blessed to have her in their lives. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
