Dear Peggy, Greg and Family
Dennis and Greg were the first kids I met when we moved to 32nd. Ave. South in the early 50s. Dennis and I were in the same class all the way through John Muir School. We had adventures in Mt. Baker and I feel so blessed that I got to see you all last spring. It was my first time seeing Dennis in almost 60 years. I thought he looked great and it was wonderful to briefly talk over old times, the times that formed us all. Our neighborhood was like the African Village they talk about. All the parents raised us all. Please accept my sincere condolences. I'm sure that Denny is in a better place and I'm a better man for having known him during the first 14 years of both of our lives.

Dennis was a friend to me for over 47 years. I have many good memories of the times we laughed, and there were many. You know a good friend when you can just be in each others presence and not have to talk. That was Dennis. I have always loved him and always will. I will see you again one day. Love, Darlene

Dear Johnson Family,
Although I hadnt seen Dennis in several years, I pretty much kept up on him. Growing up just down the hill from him, I had fond memories . He was my older brothers age and I was just the little brother that hung around with the older boys,Meat, Lenny, Dicky, and so on. He was always nice to me . He will be missed and will be talked about for a long time with a smile. My prayers go out to all of you/ God bless, Tony
