Dolores Coglas Obituary

Dolores E. COGLAS Born April 30, 1932 to Raymond and Edith Kent, Seattle, Washington. Graduated from Franklin High School in 1950, and attended Washington State University for two years. Dolores raised four boys, devoted herself to their upbringing, and loved her family deeply. As her kids grew older, she went to work as a manager of a fabric store, retiring in 1990. Dolores was an excellent seamstress, and loved to sew for her family. She also loved her garden, and would spend hours expanding and maintaining the many flower beds in her yard. Dolores belonged to Ahmes Court #41 Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America. She was a veteran of the Hatasu Daughters of the Nile Grand Unit, the Oriental Band, the Patrol, and the Sewing Club which donated their time and efforts to the Children's Shrine Hospital in Spokane, Washington. Dolores is survived by her husband Thomas Coglas, sons Martin, Gary, Louis, and Raymond, grandchildren Forest, Crystal, Brook, Kaitlyn, Mikayla, Alexa, and Thomas, and great grandchildren Shady, Erric, and Aliyah. This lovely lady passed away May 7, 2011 at the age of 79. Memorial service to be held at Shoreline Free Methodist Church, on Sat. May 21 at 510 N.E. 175th St., Shoreline WA at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to favorite charity.
