
Dolores Mae WEST Dolores Mae West, 81, of Federal Way, WA. passed away suddenly on April 19, 2011. She was born Oc tober 29, 1929 in Tacoma, Wash ington. Dolores moved around frequently as a child, at times staying with caring friends and relatives; her most memorable and enjoyable being her time spent with relatives in north Ta coma and with her best friend Janet and her family in Long Beach, California. She met and married her husband of 54 years Malcolm Randall West, who pre ceded her in death in 2009. Dolores was a stay at home mom and was active in the Blakely Manor Children's Orthopedic Guild in Burien for many years. She also had a special place in her heart for animals, was caregiver to the many dogs, birds, rats, hamsters, fish, and rabbits her children brought home. She enjoyed reading, collecting various figurines, visiting with the neighbors' dogs and meeting friends for lunch or shopping. She approached every difficult situation with a simple smile and made an extra effort to comfort friends and family who needed it Dolores is survived by her daugh ters Kathy and Pam and son Randy as well as 4 grandchildren Kayleigh, Janson, Kendall and Conner. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00pm on May 13, 2011 at St. Lukes Community of Christ, 515 S. 312th St. Federal Way, WA 98003. Remembrances may be made to the Seattle Children's Hospital Foundation. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Dear Kathy, Pam and Randy Jr,
I want you to know how sorry my family and I are to hear about the loss of your Mom. Dolores was a wonderful friend for many years during the Food Giant days. We had a lot of fun going to the annual Christmas party and our families spending 4th of July together. I am so soory to have missed the celebration of her life. I have been very ill myself and was unable to attend. On behalf of my children and I, we send our heartfelt condolences. Warm regards. Maria D'Ambrosio and Family.
