Donald Matson Obituary

Donald Roy MATSON 1-15-27 ~ 1-17-11 Don was a WWII vet with the 4th Na val Construction Battalion Seabees, he loved coffee, and was a tireless out door enthusiast. He was big hearted, kind, generous and always looked out for people less fortunate than himself. He loved to laugh! Beloved husband of 59 years of Carmel; father of Donald, Jr., Phil, Charlie (Linda), Laura (Jeff) Butler and Chris and grandfather of Sean Matson, Jessica Butler (Jason Venable), Joshua Matson and Teresa Butler. Memorial Mass, 11:00 AM Saturday, January 29, 2011 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 15236 - 21st Avenue SW, Seahurst. Donations may be made to your favorite charity or C.C.S.. Carmel and family,
Sorry to hear of Don's recent passing.I just want you to know that I have many fond memories of our old neighborhood and the ski trips to Alpental.Thanks for those memories.I hope the Matson family hearts are filled with the many wonderful memories of your happy times together as you celebrate Don's life,"A life well lived"!
