Originally from Lincoln, Nebraska his family moved to Seattle, Washington in 1942. Donald graduated from Garfield High School in 1952. After graduation he joined the Army serving in Europe, later graduating from Seattle University. Donald held various positions at the Juvenile Court in Seattle, WA where he worked for over thirty years. An avid traveler he vacationed all over the world golfing and skiing. He was a lover of all sports especially Husky football; he LOVED those Crews Family tailgates.

He was a great friend and a wonderful "Uncle" to all. He is preceded in death by his parents Lyle and Jane Crews, a Brother Lyle, Sr. (Louise), Sister in Law Norma, and longtime friend Jerry Winger. He passed into Perfect Peace on September 01, 2013 after a long illness. Don Leaves to cherish to his memory, brother Richard (Dick) Crews, nieces and nephews (great & grand) and a large family of cousins and friends. A "Celebration of Life" is scheduled for September 29th, 2013 at 2pm at the Central Area Senior Center located at 500 30th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98144. Any questions please feel free to call
