Donna June Dossinger Duggan

Donna June Dossinger DUGGAN Donna, a 31-year resident of Queen Anne Hill in Seattle, passed away peacefully at home on December 3rd surrounded by her family, after a year-long battle with cancer. She is survived by Jim, her husband of more than 31 years, her son Phillip, her sister Debbie Tenderholt, nephews Keith, Derrick, and Kyle, and a community and neighborhood of longtime friends. Donna was born in San Gabriel, CA and raised in West Covina. After graduating high school she went on to Sacramento State and then San Jose State College earning her teaching degree. She enjoyed preschoolers best and spent many years teaching preschool in the Magnolia area. Her home and neighborhood were special to her, and she volunteered countless hours to Friends of The Library, John Hay School, Block Watch, the Queen Anne Farmers Market (from its inception), America's Night Out (a neighborhood favorite), and of course attending a community council meeting or passing a petition when there was a fight to be won.
