Douglas Morrison Obituary
Douglas Hugh Morrison was born in Wyandotte, Michigan on January 13, 1943 to Virginia Marguerite Wolcott and Stanley Tabor Morrison. He passed away peacefully, with friends by his side, on August 11, 2015 at Providence Marionwood. A veteran, he served for 14 years in the U.S. Air Force and saw active duty during the Vietnam War jumping out of "Huey" Helicopters. Doug graduated with a BA degree in nursing and dedicated much of his life to advocating on behalf of the homeless. He was appointed by Seattle Mayor McGinn to the SHA Board of Commissioners. The Funeral Mass and following reception will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Alphonsus Roman Catholic Parish, 5816 15th Avenue N.W., Seattle WA. on Friday, September 11, 2015.
