To Ed's four daughters: I was your dad's buddy at work from 1984 until he retired. We talked almost daily and at great length about very philosophical things, but every day he talked about you guys. I felt like I knew all of you, even though I can only recall meeting two of you. He was such a proud father. He was also a good friend. When my son started showing interest in technological stuff, it was Ed who invited my little boy into his very cool shop. When my husband needed car help, Ed was always there with advice and help. And we traded a couple of cars down the line too.
The last time we talked was after I got back from a trip to Italy where I found the town "Marzi" and had to send him photos of the place.
Your dad was so proud of you guys, he's looking down and smiling at you. And it occurs to me, he was wild about his granddaughter too. And I see there's a couple more grand kids now. Best of luck to you guys and I am truly sorry for your loss.
