Eleanor was born on 12/22/1924 in St. Paul, MN. She died on 12/6/2012 in Seattle at home with her family.
Eleanor left St. Paul as a young woman with dreams of going to California. When on her way, in a romantic twist of fate, all of her dreams did come true. She met Walt, the love of her life, while working as an elevator operator at the Seattle Elks Club. That was the beginning of more than 60 years spent together.
Family was the most important thing to them and together they raised their 3 children.
Eleanor was a wonderful, glamorous, feisty, petite woman who wore the highest of heels well into her 80's.
She was loved very much and will be deeply missed. She is survived by her daughter Cynthia, son Gig (Debra), grandchildren Thia (Steve), Vavi (Ingrid), Gig and Seth, and great grandchildren Josie, Jay, Charlie, Max and Olin. She was preceded in death by her husband Walt and son Jay.
At her request there will be a private family gathering. In lieu of flowers, take someone you love out to coffee. See Eleanor's online Guest Book at www.Legacy.com.
