Elizabeth Jean Weder

Elizabeth Jean Weder passed away February 11, 2013, surrounded by loving family. Born on October 22, 1951, Elizabeth spent most of her early life in Bellevue, Washington, with her family, parents Ray and Marge Mueller, sisters Cherie and Mary, and brother Joe.

Elizabeth married Roy Weder in 1980, and they spent 32 years together. They settled in Maple Valley, where they raised two children, Nick and Bridgitte. Elizabeth's dream to become a teacher was realized after she achieved a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Washington. In the years that followed, she spent time as a respected and adored teacher in different fields and positions. Most recently, she inspired and positively impacted many as a full-time special education teacher for the Renton School District. Her incredible humor and energy were equally matched by her intellect and fortitude.

Elizabeth is survived by son Nick (Andrea) and grandson Brenden, daughter Bridgitte, and sisters Cherie (Sue) and Mary (Marc).
