Ernesto Pino Obituary
Ernesto (Ernie) Pino, President of Producciones Pino, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2015. Ernie was a noted chef, author, and writer who created the Northwest's leading world language media agency.
He is survived by his husband, actor and composer Richard Gray, his parents, Ernesto and Maria Concepcion Pino of Green Valley, Arizona, and his sister, Linda Darling.
A Celebration of Ernie's life will be held at The 5th Avenue Theatre on Monday, June 1st at 6:00 p.m. All are welcome.

Ernie was an extraordinary person. I worked with him from 1990 until recently. Ernie had the gift of making me feel I was the most talented person on earth. Ernie was always gracious. A class act. I never stopped admiring all his different facets. A wonderful man. He lived life to the fullest. I will miss him very very much.

Ernie was such a kind and fun person and we are glad to have met him. We know how much passion he had for everything he did. We was friendly and welcoming to everyone and everyone loved his donations to so many non profit events. Our thoughts are with your family.

My heart is so heavy from this loss, yet I smile when I think of Ernie--his beautiful dark eyes, quick wit, kind touch, brilliant taste, passion for, well, everything great, lust for the best of life, caring for friends. I am shocked and saddened by this news. Mr. Pino was so much a part of our Court in Lake Forest Park, where he was our Spanish interpreter for many years. I always looked forward to seeing him. I stayed with Ernie when I visited CA in the late 1980s and he was the kindest, most wonderful host and so much fun to spend time with. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. Sending prayers of love and comfort to his husband and family.

Carole and I met Ernie and Rich very early on in our life here in Seattle and had some times (esp in food arena) that people only dream of. Ernie gave me the nickname of 'Babe-a-licious' his pet name for me. My very, very heartfelt condolences to Rich and all his family. Love, Babe
