Evelyn Ruth Coker|
Evelyn Coker, 95, of Bothell, passed away February 15th, 2013. She was born March 2nd, 1917 in Seattle, the daughter of Thomas and Ruth Coker.
Evelyn graduated from Franklin High School in Seattle, class of 1935. She was an employee of the federal government and retired as an administrator with the Veteran's Administration. In 1949 Evelyn met and entered into the lasting, loving relationship with her lifelong companion, Marjorie Needham who preceded her in death in Sept. 2011.
Evelyn is survived by her two nieces and nephew, Laura (Bruce) Martin, of Mesa, AZ., Lynne Giffin of Bellevue, and, Lee (Becky) Giffin of Tacoma.; great niece Courtney (Gideon) Amparo of Santa Cruz CA, great nephew Travis (Jeff Spencer) Martin of Seattle.; Great-great nephew Atticus Amparo of Santa Cruz, CA.
The family would like to invite all of her friends to a celebration of her life to be held at Evergreen-Washelli, 18224 103rd Ave N.E., Bothell, WA at 2:00pm, March 3rd, 2013.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Evergreen Hospice Services in her name.
