FLAVIA LAGERQUIST Obituary

Flavia Marie LAGERQUIST Flavia passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on May 30, 2011. We take comfort that she is now home with her Lord, Jesus Christ. She was born to George & Margaret Baldwin on October 4, 1930, in Seattle, Washington where she lived her entire life. Flavia graduated from Holy Names Academy & went on to Seattle University where she graduated from nurses training at Providence Hospital. Flavia married Bill Lagerquist on February 16, 1952 beginning 59½ years of life together. Flavia is survived & loved by Bill & six children: Jim (Jeanne), Dave (Leslie), Janet Bair (Steve), John (Becky), Bill (Randy), & Don (Tawnya); and ten grandchildren & eleven great-grandchildren. Flavia has now rejoined her father (George), mother (Margaret), stepmother (Kathryn) and three brothers who preceded her in death. She loved the Seattle Mariners, Starbucks coffee, Immaculate Conception Church, weekly lunches with her friend, Joyce, and get-togethers & holidays with her family. Flavia was a great wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her family who loved her and will miss her very much. We all look forward to being reunited with her one day. Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church; 820 18th Ave., Seattle on Saturday June 4th at 10:30 a.m. with interment to follow at St. Patrick Cemetery in Kent. Remembrances in Flavia's honor may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
