Surrounded by her family, Frances Rue Bradford passed away peacefully on December 4, 2012. She is survived by her devoted husband, Richard, her three sons, David (Deborah), Paul and Peter (Carol), and her beloved granddaughter, Lydia.

Born in Arlington, Washington on August 23, 1919 to Fred and Zoe Emerson, she was the third of five children.

In 1938 she moved to San Francisco where she met Richard. They were married on February 12, 1940.

At the end of WWII Richard and Frances moved to Seattle where they raised their three children.

After Richard retired they moved to Leavenworth and built a house on the Wenatchee River where they enjoyed several years of fishing, swimming and soaking up the sun.
