In the mid to late 1950’s we played many of football games with Georgie and the neighborhood kids in the alley surrounded by Swift, Willard and Snow. I have some good memories of those days. I’m sorry we lost contact with each other since then. Rest in peace my friend.

I'm so sad to hear of George's passing.
Back in High School he was so quirky and talented, and had the coolest car! I was shy, but always admired him from afar. My condolences to his family.

Georgie: I can't tell you the number of times I've thought of you over the years. I am sorry to have you leave us so young, but have come to accept that God has a plan and try not to question why any longer. Rest in Peace my dear friend.

I also worked with George for the past 13+ years. He was one of the first engineers I interacted with when I started in Renton, and he set the standard I held the other engineers to. He was always a good person to work with, very thorough and knowledgeable - and put up with a lot of dumb questions in my early days. He will be missed both for his kind personality and the wealth of knowledge he amassed.

George and I worked together on many Boeing facilities projects over the years. He was a warm, kind and extremely competent engineer and it was a joy to work with him. I am saddened to learn of his passing, but know his loved ones are comforted by their memories of him. A fine and decent person.

Sincerely,
Jim Wells
