George "Bud" F. Bicknell

Born, Seattle, Washington, May 11th, 1930, to Mel and Dorothy Bicknell. Survived by wife of 55 years, Diane; children Greg (Laura), Doug (Belinda), Fred (Cathy), Debbie (John Bassett); brother Charles Bicknell (Doris); nephew Mark; 5 grandsons; one great-granddaughter; son Bill Miller (Tina) and family.

Proud Graduate of Roosevelt High school in 1948. Joined the Army and served 6 years seven months in the Army Security Agency. Worked for many years in the tire industry including owning his own Shop. Later years were spent working in construction, painting and maintenance.

Bud and Diane enjoyed many cruises and trips before and after retirement. One special road trip was spent following "Route 66". Bud was a proud owner of a 1966 Chevy Impala convertible, which he exhibited at local car shows.

The last 14 years were spent at Wandering Creek Senior Community. These were his happiest years as a helper and "fix it man" to everyone in every way. He was greatly loved by not only his family and friends but everyone in the community.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 7th, 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 at the Lake City Elks Club, 14540 Bothell Way, Seattle.
