Glenda Newman Obituary

Glenda Karlene NEWMAN Glenda was born April 21st 1951. She died during hospice at her home in Shoreline Wednesday after longtime medical complications. Glenda was born at Gassville Arkansas, to parents Amel & Sharon Casteel. She married John Newman October 1975.Glenda grew up in Mountlake Terrace where she attended school. She most enjoyed her 4 grandchildren. In the end medical complications became overwhelming and she returned home to pass away during hospice with her husband and two sons at her side. She was survived by husband John; sons Keith (Shannon) & Casey (Jessica); Grandchildren Austin, Gracee, Preston, Tayla (Tater Bug); Mother Sharon Johnston; sister Terrell Paris; step-brother Keith Cokely; Niece Lynda Wendinger; nephew Michael Paris. Predeceased by her Father Amel Casteel (1986); stepfather Eugene Johnston. Services will be Sat Feb 19th @ Floral Hills Funeral Home in Lynnwood 1pm. Reception to follow.

John and family, sincere sympathy for your loss. When I saw you two in December, I would never have thought she would only have another couple of months here. She put up a brave fight for a very long time. Now she can rest. I'm so sorry.
