Glenn Goodson Obituary

Glenn Lowell GOODSON September 5, 1925 ~ February 16, 2011 Born in Seattle to George Goodson and Clara Hagen Goodson, Glenn graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1943 and the University of Washington in 1948. He served aboard the USS Botetourt & Braine (1950-52), and retired LCDR USNR 1968. In Seattle he loved to race and cruise sailboats. Glenn married Sally Ingraham on July 3, 1964. In 1967 they moved from their houseboat on Lake Union to Shoreline to raise a family. Glenn worked at the University Hospital when it was opened and for many years in the UW Medical School before retiring in 1985. Glenn is survived by his sons Bruce, Steve, and John, their mother Sally, his grandchildren Nastassia and Nicholas, and his sister Carol Berg.

I HAVE BEEN A LONG TIME NIEBOR OF GLEN'S
(30+) YEARS AND DO REMBER OUR TALKS OVER THE FENCE OVER THE YEARS. I EVEN SOLD HIM A STATION WAGON I NO LONGER NEEDED AND HE THEN SOLD ME HIS LAST CAR B4 MOVING ON TO HIS NEW HOME NEAR HIS OLD WORK PLACE!! THE ( UW )!! HE WILL BE MISSED BY THE WHOLE GROUP HERE!!

I've always known Glenn to be a thoughtful and caring man who was a delight to be with. Glenn was always a positive person. We will miss him at St. John's Masonic Lodge, where he has been a member since 1955!
