Glenna Ann (Richards) Evanson

In Loving Memory

Glenna was born in Blaine, WA and moved to Cashmere at an early age. She went to Wenatchee High School and attended classes at the new Washington State University. Glenna came to Seattle during WWII and worked as a secretary for the Army Corps of Engineers. She married Ed Sundquist in 1943, with whom she had her three children Stephen (deceased) Sally and Timmi. In 1972, she married her second husband Bill Hinchchiffe, who died in 1980. In 1982, she married her third and final husband Palmer Evanson, who died in 2001. Glenna was an avid reader and knitter, much beloved by her family, many friends and neighbors over the years. She spent her final years at Madison House in Kirkland, WA and at Gencare Ballard Landmark in Seattle, WA. Glenna is survived by two children (Sally Brooks of Shelton, WA and T.J. Evanson of Seattle, WA), three grandchildren (Daniel Hinchcliffe of Granbury, TX, David Hinchcliffe of Seattle, WA and Sarah Jessica Evanson-Isaac of Seattle, WA) and five great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 3rd, 2:30 PM at Gencare Ballard Landmark 5433 Leary Ave. NW. Arrangements entrusted to Bleitz Funeral Home.
