Gloria Aaroe Obituary
Gloria Doll AAROE Passed away on April 13, 2011, peacefully at home surrounded by her family after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born on May 2nd 1930 in Omaha, Nebraska. Gloria's family moved to Oakland, California, where she attended high school and trained as a nurse. Gloria married her husband Gene in 1950 and they made the Seattle area their home in 1955. Gloria worked with Gene in his land surveying business as well as creating a loving home with their four children in Burien. Survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Gene, son Erik, daughters Althea, Ingrid and Anna, grandchildren Alicia, Rick, Dylan, Charlotte and Travis. A memorial service will be held in the chapel at The Kenney in West Seattle on April 23rd at 2pm. The family asks that memorial gifts be made to Providence Hospice of Seattle.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

I remember a fun-loving mom who always use to give ingrid and I a ride to the Seattle Center. Remember Luigi Ingrid. Sorry to hear of your loss.

I will always remember how sweet you are, how patient when your daughter(s) lost their temper, your great giggle, sense of humor and how great your legs always looked in your tennis outfits! What a smile!!
