Gordon Lester Miley

Gordon Lester MILEY Gordon was born Sep. 22, 1914 and passed Apr. 2, 2011 at 96 years. Preceded in death by his wife, Elsie, in 2005. He leaves three children Ken, Lee and Marilyn and their spouses, and six grandchildren. Gordon lived his entire life in Seattle. He was born on Queen Anne Hill and then resided in the Greenlake area since 1925. He graduated from Lincoln High School and began work as a parts mechanic for Fageol Motors. He later was employed by Metro transit as the Supervisor of Stores and retired in 1980. Gordon was a devoted husband, father and friend to many. His favorite place to be was McKee's Beach on Port Susan Bay where he spent many happy hours with wife Elsie and family. Interment at Washelli Cemetery at 12pm on Sat., Apr. 9th. Memorial service and fellowship to follow at Bethany Lutheran Church at 2:00 pm, 7400 Woodlawn Ave. NE, Seattle. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Bethany Lutheran Church or Providence Hospice.
