Harold John Scott

Harold John Scott, 92, of Seattle, WA. Harold was born Feb 25, 1921 in Othello, WA to the late Benjamin H. and Clara Bois Scott. The family moved to Calif. shortly thereafter and Harold grew up in Lodi. Predeceased by Jaqueline, wife of almost 65 yrs. Beloved father of John, Christina, Teresa Tenge (Brad) and Joanne. Survived by his brother, George and many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Harold served in the US Navy during WWII. Following the war, he was stationed in Seattle, where he met his wife, Jackie (nee Standley). Harold (Scotty) was a retired Seattle firefighter. He was passionate about restoring and touring in his antique Buick cars. He enjoyed several breakfast clubs, excursions, parties and his many friends. Harold led an extraordinarily active life and was to leave on a vintage car tour of British Columbia the day he died. He was a member of the SeaTac Horseless Carriage Club, The Buick Club and the Vintage Car Club of Canada. There will be a funeral mass, August 8, 10:30am, Holy Rosary Catholic Church, West Seattle. Arrangements by Howden-Kennedy. Memorials suggested to Fire Dept Medic One or Fr Mallahan Fund at Holy Rosary.
