Harriet Dockendorff Obituary

Harriet Almeda DOCKENDORFF Harriet passed away on Monday March 3, 2011. She was born Harriet Johnson, in the small farming community of Fort Ransom ND, on July 25, 1920. She was the middle child and only daughter to Harley and Alma Johnson. She came to Seattle in 1940 and worked at Boeing during WW II. After WW II she met Philip J. Dockendorff and they were married in 1947. Harriet was preceded in death by her parents Harley and Alma and her brothers Lloyd G. Johnson and Harley L. Johnson, Jr. She is succeeded by her two sons Paul Dockendorff and his wife Delberta and Richard Dockendorff and his wife Sue. She had four Grandchildren, Brian Dockendorff and his wife Kasia, Julie Gibson and her husband Kevin, Sally Dockendorff, and Amy Dockendorff. She had four Great-grandchildren, Isabel and Nathan Dockendorff and Emma and Audrey Gibson. Her friends and family are invited to celebrate her life and remember her passing. Memorial services will be held on Friday March 11, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Bethel Lutheran Church at 17418 8th Ave NE, Shoreline, WA 98155. The family requests any memorials be given to Bethel Lutheran Church in her name.

So sorry you have lost your MOM and my mothers very dear friend. We lost Gilberta in july so now they are together again in heaven. Love to you boys Suzanne Dittmer
