Dear Uncle Vernon, Judy, Linda and Carol, I am so saddened to hear about the passing of Auntie Helen. I will always remember her loving demeanor and her great laugh. When I would stay with Grandma I in the summers I will always remember hanging with you guys and being treated like another daughter lining up in the bathroom to get my hair fixed by her with the rest of her girls. My day would sometime call me "Helen". I thought it was because she and I were both the younger sister in our families. He was so fond of her. May she rest in peace.
Love to you all.

Vern and family,
Your old neighbors and friends are thinking of you. We will never forget the many years we spent raising our families side by side on the old Birklid homestead. The East Hill was a paradise for kids! We have a lifetime of happy memories there.
Helen was a beautiful lady. We are sorry to hear of her passing.
Love,
Glen, Imogene, Judy, Mary Kay, Kathy, Janie, and Rob

Auntie Helen,
May all of us who loved you find peace in your peace and strength from your courage and will in your last days. You were remarkable.
Bless Uncle Vern in these hard times ahead without you and bless your Angel daughters who carry on in your remarkable footsteps. You should be so proud of them and their children. They all carry a bit of you with them.
Such a legacy.
My heart goes out to all. Brothers Vic and Kenny and Sister Agnes. Bless you.
Too many memories to share. Music was always such an important part of my life that when words escape me I enlist the help of song. So as Elvis once sang in an ethereal voice .." That's someone you'll never forget".
Love to everyone.

Auntie Helen was such an important part of my life. She will live in my heart always. The best thing she ever taught me was,"There's more than one way to get to Kent." I have relied on that philosophy more than anyone can imagine. Love her so much!
