Dear Patty & Gordy,

I was so sad to read your Mom's obituary yesterday. She was a GOOD
friend to me & so generous......just the last time Stan was home when we lived on Roxbury she offered us as many prunes as we could take -- & Stan picked the tree clean!
Helen & I went way back to Sunday School days at All Saints & I could always depend on her for support. I knew she wasn't well and regret not seeing her since we moved here to a retirement apartment near Renton last year. She called me just before we moved. I know how
proud she was of both of you & I'm happy her little great-grand daughter was born in her lifetime........Congratulations, Patty!
