Helen Mary FORMAN Helen Mary Forman nee Konoski, 83, courageously and peacefully passed away with her family by her side on March 19, 2011 in Seattle, WA. She was born into a large extended family on June 18, 1927 in Kenora, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of Ukrainian refugees fleeing the Bolshevik Revolution. In 1961 Helen immigrated to Washington State with her husband and children. She worked as an executive secretary for Long-Bell and then Boeing for many years. Helen was a beautiful woman who will be always be remembered for her selfless compassionate nature, enduring love for home and family, traditional Ukrainian cooking and unsurpassed baking. At sunrise on the last day of winter she was born through death into the spring of new beginnings. Our mother and grandmother was dearly loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. Helen is survived by her 4 children, daughters Marcia Felt and Sandra Locklear, sons Leslie Forman and Larry Forman, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, brother William Konoski and family of Kenora and countless relatives across Canada. The family would like to thank the staffs of Providence Mt. St. Vincent and Swedish Hospital for their dedicated care. A Memorial Liturgy with Panakhyda will be held Friday, April 29, 2011 at 11:00am at St. Francis of Assisi, 15236 21st Ave. SW, Burien, WA 98166 with reception to follow.
