Helen Wilde Obituary

Helen May WILDE Passed away peacefully on January 19, 2011. Born in Seattle on August 26, 1919, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Jean Allen Wilde, and two sisters, Vera Hill and Francis Cleveland. She is survived by her sister, Janet Mitchell (Dick), and her children, Carol J. Fuhler (Dick) and Gregory L. Wilde (Jean), three grandchildren, Nathan Wilde, Eric Meyer (Brenda), and Patrick Meyer (Tamee). Helen was blessed with eight great-grandchildren. This fiercely independent woman loved to putter in her yard and enjoyed the companionship of her family of neighbors who kept a vigilant eye on her. The church was an important part of her life. At Bethel Lutheran she was active in the Pass It On Quilters and the Sarah Circle. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Friends are invited to join the family in a memorial service on January 25th at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Lutheran Church, 17418 8th Avenue, N.E., Shoreline. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Shoreline 911 at the Shoreline Fire Department, the Humane Society, or a charity of one's choice.
