Inez Chalupny Obituary
Inez Una CHALUPNY Born to Clara and William D. Morse in Rosthern, Saskatchewan Canada on Oct 3, 1923. Passed away in Seattle, WA on Jan 16, 2011. Una served in the Women's Royal Canadian Navy and then attended the Univ. of British Columbia (UBC). She moved to Seattle to work in a bacteriology lab at the Virginia Mason. She joined the Mountaineers, became an accomplished climber and climbed the 6 major peaks in WA State. She met and married William J. Chalupny and settled in Kent where they raised their kids. Survived by her daughter Jan, son-in-law Mark Lee, son Joel, daughter-in-law Lisa and granddaughters Katie, Carly and Saharah. A memorial service will be held on Jan 30 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hearthstone in Seattle. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the Hearthstone Memory Care Fund or UBC.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
