Jaclyn Harding Obituary

Jaclyn Pancoast HARDING Jaclyn Pancoast Harding was born on Nov. 7, 1933 to Isabella & Howard Pancoast in Bellingham, WA. She graduated from Bellingham High School in 1951, and married Joseph Harding on Nov. 29, 1952 at Sacred Heart Church in Bellingham. After Joe was discharged from the US Navy, they moved to Seattle where Joe attended the UW. While living in Wallingford, Jackie worked as school secretary at St. Benedict's Catholic School for a number of years. They moved to Lynnwood, WA in 1980, where Jackie worked as a teaching assistant at a Montessori school until severe asthma caused her retirement. Jackie was diagnosed with lung cancer in mid Nov. 2010 and passed away under hospice care, at home, on Feb. 2, 2011 with her family around her. Funeral Mass will be at St. Thomas More Church, 6511-176th St. SW., Lynnwood, WA on Fri. Feb. 18, at 11:00 a.m. Jackie and Joe have nine children; Leslie, Michael, Catherine, Brian, Patrick, Stacie, Paul, Joyce (who died at birth), and Brendan.
