James Arthur (Jim) Wright Obituary
James (Jim) Arthur Wright

James Arthur Wright (Jim) passed away on October 29th 2012, in his home, after a long battle with Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. He is survived by his three daughters, Linda Kezele, Susan Wright-Rowsell, and Patricia Barker, along with their significant others, thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.

Jim was a beautiful, honest, kind and understanding man with a full head of wavy hair, who very much enjoyed watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren play sports and interact at family gatherings.

He graduated from Lincoln High School, at the age of 17, so he could defend his country in WWII. He enlisted in the Navy on the day the war was over, but served two years. During that time, he learned to be an Aviation Machinist.

Jim married his sweetheart and love of his life, Jean Monk, at age 20, whom preceded him in death in 1988. He also had two more special women in his life, Noreen Buetow and Evelyn Cimmery, who also preceded him in death.

Jim worked at Boeing for 45 years, retiring in 1988. He worked on multiple aircrafts, from the 707 to the 767, installing landing gear and the final flight line. He took pride in his work and showed that by attending every class Boeing provided and did almost every job there was on the line.

He opened his home to his brother's four children, Byron Wright, Karen Wright, Norman Wright and Sharon Diehl, who were brought up and treated as his own. Jim was a very strict father and uncle, but gave all his children a great upbringing and leaves them with fun family memories.

Jim was a quiet man, a lovely man, and he will be missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 10th, 3pm at Snoqualmie Valley Funeral Chapel, 1202 Boalch Ave NW, North Bend WA 98045
