James George Petritz Sr.

James George PETRITZ, Sr. Jim Petritz passed away peacefully on September 27, 2009 with his family at his side. He now joins the love of his life, Katherine Therese Petritz (Sullivan). He was born in Butte, Montana on August 22, 1928 to Margaret Stefanich and Peter Petritz. He then married Katherine Sullivan on June 11, 1955, started a family, and moved to Bothell, Washington in 1960. Jim was not only well known as being an active member of the community, but a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, brother, brother-in law, and friend. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kay of 42 years, infant son, and loving siblings - Joey, Peachy, Margaret, Rudy, Lorraine, Teacha, Patty and Archie. He leaves behind his siblings - Martin (Big-Eye) Petritz and Patricia (Cookie) Petritz; children - James Jr. (Debbie), Lucy, Donny (Wendy), Joe (Jennifer), and Margaret (Eric); grandchildren - Christy (Kevin), Heidi, Erik, Andrew, Sam, Katie, and Ashley; and great granddaughter - Elliot. Jim is now spending time with his wife and getting the opportunity to catch up with family and friends that were waiting for his arrival. It was such a gift to share such a wonderful person with all of you. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, October 5, 2009 at 11:00a.m. at St. Brendan Church of Bothell.
