James "Jamie" Douglas Hollcraft|
December 11, 1963 ~ July 2, 2013
Jamie died peacefully at home with his mother, Marjorie, brother Jeff, and sisters, Pat and Terrie by his side, after a long brave battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his father, Thomas Ray Hollcraft; and survived by his mother Marjorie; sisters Susan, Pat, Nancy, and Terrie; and brothers David, Ted, Jeff, and Jon.
He attended Little Red School House and graduated from Maplewood Public School. He was active in the Special Olympics and worked for a time at Work Opportunities. He loved to bowl and make new friends wherever he went. The Three Stooges made him laugh. Jamie was a sweet, happy, gentle, wise soul. Those of us lucky enough to have known and loved him, and been loved by him, will carry him in our hearts all the rest of the days of our lives.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to any of the above organizations.
A Celebration of Jamie's life will be held in August.
