James Oscar "Jim" Hendrickson Obituary
James 'Jim' Oscar Hendrickson

6/15/47 ~ 1/14/13

On January 14, 2013 the earth lost a man with a personality that could light up a stadium and the heavens gained a beautiful Angel that will shine upon the world.

Jim was born in Seattle on June 15, 1947 to Oscar and Ruth Hendrickson. He passed away at home in Port Angeles at the age of 65.

Jim spent the majority of his life on Queen Anne Hill. He attended Queen Anne High school. After various jobs, he went on to a career as a truck driver working for Boise Cascade Office Products and System Transfer & Storage. Jim was a member of Teamsters Local 174.

Jim married Lori Arnold on January 29, 1982 in Seattle. After his retirement in 1996 it was time to move on to a new adventure so in 1999 Jim & Lori left the big city and moved to Port Angeles to live in the woods and enjoy all that it had to offer.

Jim leaves a huge void in the life of his wife & best friend of 30 years, Lori (Arnold) Hendrickson. He is also survived by his sisters, Julia & Richard von Scheele and Patricia & Charles R Finn. His In-laws, Dianne, Dean, Tom & Dan Arnold and Suzanne (Kevin) Ducotey. Nephews & nieces: Julie von Scheele (Brandon & Austin); Stacy & Amanda von Scheele (Sophia); Susan& James Monroe (Gavin & Grace); Charles J Finn; Kristofer, Kylur & Jordyn Ducotey; Zachary, Adrienne, Stephanie & Jonathan Arnold.

He leaves a multitude of friends and extended family as well as his boys, John & Jim Williamson and adopted brother Charlie Palazzo to mourn his loss.

Jim loved a good party, so a celebration of his life is being planned for June 15th. Please e-mail party4jimh@gmail.com for updates.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County (VHCC), 540 E 8th Street, Port Angeles WA 98362.

Jim, I will Love You Always & Forever. Sweet Dreams. Lori
