We were sorry to hear of Uncle Jay's passing. We didn't know him well but did enjoy the times we were together with him and Betty. Our thoughts and prayers are with Betty and Jay's family. May God comfort you all during this time.

I worked with Jay at the University of Washington for ten years, and he was a kind, gentle man who will be missed by many. I wish the family well and pray that your memories help you through this difficult time.

I worked with Jay several years ago when I began my career with the Medical Center. He was always so kind and thoughtful, and his work was very much appreciated. My thoughts and prayers are with Jay's family.

We were great partners at work!

Jay, was a great and very loyal friend of mine and my family... going back to 1976 when I first met him at work! He was our Best Man in our wedding. Jay was my "american speech and ways mentor" as I immigrated from the Philippines in 1976. I worked with him for over 30 years at the UW, rehired him as a contractor after he retired and I called him to work with me again two years after I retired and started a project for UW-PFS as temps. I last saw Jay last Tuesday, February 15, when he wished my mom a great time to celebrate her 90th Bday that weekend.

When we were still single, Jay and I used to go out with a bunch of friends and had a lot of fun in the process - whether it's spent in bowling alleys, baseball fields, "disco houses" or bars!! I will surely miss his friendship! May JAY rest in Peace! Your friend... Ed Jose and family (Heidi, Kat and Chris)
