Jean Akrish Obituary

Jean AKRISH Born January 7th 1928 in Brooklyn, New York to Lucy and Professor Albert Levy. The family moved to Seattle when Jean was a child. Jean graduated from Garfield High School in 1945. She married the love of her life, Mike Akrish, on August 20, 1949. Jean is survived by daughter Cynthia (Akrish) Lee; son Steve Akrish; daughter Lucie Akrish; grandson Michael Isaac Akrish; loving daughter-in-laws Teresa Akrish and Terri Akrish; nephews and nieces. She was loved by all who knew her. Jean was genuinely honest, compassionate, good humored and big hearted. We will always miss, love and fondly remember this beautiful lady, and feel very fortunate to have had her in our lives. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jean's name may be made to the Caroline Kline Galland Home (7500 Seward Park Ave S., Seattle, WA, 98118). We thank the Kline Galland staff for their loving and compassionate care.
