Bev and Paul, To hear of Jeff's passing choked me up, I am so sorry he lost the battle. I heard after you left Quonny and moved out to California about Jeff. I remember him with Danny and the gand on the sunny central beach throwing the wooden skim boards and doing amazing
moves on the board. Staying on the board, I thought was the greatest. He was kind enough to show me how to use it and sometimes hold me on the board. Of course being 5 years younger than Jeff, he could have not talked to me at all, but he did, and that was great because I could hang out with the big boys. Even if it was for a short time. I can't leave out the bonfires too! We miss him and the two of you at Quonny and send our love and hugs and prayers.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Boucher, and Victoria, I am so very sorry for your loss. I just lost my husband to cancer myself, and I share in the pain that you all are feeling. Jeff and I went through high school together. He was always so much fun to be around, whether at dances, parties, or at East Beach. He was a wonderful human being, and I am so glad we stayed in touch over the years. I was so sorry when he informed me about his melanoma, but I really thought he would beat it because he had such a positive attitude. When he gave me the link to the blog he was writing chronicling his life with melanoma, I found it so interesting to follow. He always remained positive and humorous. Then his life was filled with so much happiness when he met Victoria. When he told me he was moving to Sonoma because he wanted to marry her I was thrilled for him. It was wonderful that he had finally found the love of his life. Victoria meant the world to him. God bless you and comfort all of you at this time of great loss. Jeff will never be forgotten.

My wife and I traveled with Jeff to Churchill Canada to see the Polar Bears. A few years later I went with him to Midway Island to view the Laysan Albatross. He was such a great guy and we loved him like a son. He will be missed. May God be with his family at this difficult time.
