Dr. Jenefer S. HUNTOON Celebration of her life to be held Monday, Sept. 26 from 5pm to 8:30pm at the Nordic Heritage Museum Auditorium, 3014 NW 67th St (in Ballard) Seattle 98117 (starting with story telling by those visiting and a potluck). Born in Decatur Alabama in 1947, grew up a Methodist in Indiana & Michigan. Jenefer was a checker at Krogers in her teens & graduated from Tell City High in 1966, a town of 6000 in Indiana. Graduated from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine (NCNM) in 1975. Jenefer will be deeply missed by her brothers, Philip of Biloxi MS, David of Seattle and John and his wife Diana of Atlanta. Jenefer was involved with nutrition & healthy eating well her whole life. Jenefer fell in love with the Seattle area 4 decades ago and was taken to the Lord on Sept. 21, 2011. Jenefer loved sailing, ice & roller skating, hiking and meeting with friends at the Mountainers & Mensa clubs. Jenefer loved walking and skating around Green Lake for exercise with many Seattle friends. In lieu of flowers Dr. Jenefer's prescription is for optional donations to be made to your favorite charity and required more exercise like walking for all.
